1. Introduction
GT-100 Librarian is an application that allows you to manage your GT-100 User Patches eciently as a library on your computer. It is suited for
collecting, organizing, copying, and reordering large amounts of data.
* You must have BOSS GT-100 and the special GT-100 driver in order to use GT-100 Librarian. You can download the driver from the Roland local
website. The program and procedures for installing the driver vary according to the operating environment; carefully read the Readme included in
the downloaded le.
2. Connections and Settings
Connect the GT-100 and your computer via USB cable as described in GT-100 owners manual.
GT-100 Librarian may not operate correctly if these connections are not made correctly.
Always turn on the power to the GT-100 rst before starting up GT-100 Librarian.
NOTE
Do not disconnect the USB cable connected to the GT-100 while GT-100 Librarian is running.
Specify the input/output devices :
Make settings for the MIDI device you’ll be using.
1. From the menu, choose [Setup] – “Set Up MIDI Devices” to open the “Set Up MIDI Devices” dialog box.
2. Set GT-100 Input/Output to the following settings.
Input: Output: Device ID:
GT-100 GT-100 1
For Device ID, select the same number as the SYSTEM: MIDI SETTING: DEVICE ID parameter on the GT-100 (default: 1).
3. Click [OK].
