Selecting Tones
Use the following procedure to select a tone:
1. Press a tone button (e.g. Piano, Organ,
Guitar/Bass, etc.) in the TONE section (located
to the right of the LCD screen).
2. Use the + and – to the right of the LCD screen
to toggle through tones.
3. Stop on the tone you wish to use.

Selecting Music Styles
Use the following procedure to select a Music Style
from internal memory:
1. Press a music style button (e.g. Pop/Rock,
Ballad/Acoustic, Oldies/Country etc.) in the
MUSIC STYLE section (located to the left of
the screen.)
2. Use the + and – to the right of the LCD screen
to locate a music style in that genre.
3. Press the START/STOP button (located to the
left of the screen) to play the music style; press
the START/STOP button to silence the music
style..

Selecting One Touch Programs
Use the following procedure to select automatic
accompaniment settings:
1. Select a Music Style as described under
“Selecting Music Styles.”
2. Press the ARRANGER button (located below
the tone buttons.)
3. Play a note on the lower half of the keyboard.
4. Press the START/STOP button (located to the
left of the screen) to silence the arrangement.

Selecting Music Assistants
Use the following procedure to select a Music
Assistant:
1. Press the MUSIC ASSISTANT button (located
to the left of the screen.)
2. Use the + and – to the right of the LCD screen
to locate a Music Assistant song.
3. Play a note on the lower half of the keyboard to
begin.
4. Press the START/STOP button (located to the
left of the screen) to silence the piano.

Playing a Song from Disk
Use the following procedure to play a song from disk:
1. Insert a SMF music disk into the drive.
2. Press the SONG button (located to the left of
the LCD screen.)
3. Use the + and – to the right of the LCD screen
to locate a song.
4. Press the PLAY button (the gray button located
to the left of the disk drive) to play the song.
5. Press the STOP button to silence the piano.

Recording a Song
Use the following procedure to record a song:
1. Press the REC button in the
RECORD/PLAYBACK section (located to the
left of the disk drive.)Select a Music Style as
described under “Selecting Music Styles.”
Note:
If USER SONG does not appear on the screen, then use the
arrow buttons next to the screen to select USER SONG
2. Play a song
3. Press the STOP button when you are done.
4. Press the RESET button.
5. Press the PLAY button to hear the song.
