The maximum simultaneous polyphony is 128 notes. If you are playing
along with a song and making heavy use of the damper pedal, the
number of notes the RK-300 is attempting to produce may exceed the
maximum polyphony, meaning that some of the notes will drop out.

INSTRUMENT buttons [1] [2] [3] also operate as buttons that select
“Recommended Tones” or “User Tones.”
If you select the <Recommend> tab in the main screen, these buttons are
automatically assigned instrumental sounds that are appropriate for the
song. You can press instrument buttons [1] [2] [3] to select these
recommended tones.
If you select the <User> tab in the main screen, you can assign your own
choice of sounds to these buttons.
