1. IT’S A PIANO by ‘default’ (every time you turn it on).
a. Touch
i. Modeled from grand piano (not vertical)
ii. Gravity based system with NO springs
iii. Progressively weighted (as a fine, well-regulated grand)
b. Tone – from the world’s most widely used concert grand
c. Importance of adjusting:
i. Volume control (LEFT on Panel) [OM page 19]
ii. Brilliance control (LEFT on Panel) [OM page 19]
d. Two piece natural keys with Ivory Feel keytops and escapement.
2. PIANO DESIGNER – Adjusting the piano sound of the HP-207 to your personal preference.

a. Press the PIANO DESIGNER
button located just to the left
of the display screen.
b. Use the -/+ buttons to choose
the parameter you wish to
adjust, and press the
PLAY/STOP button to enter
the setting screen. There are
four (4) PIANO DESIGNER
SCREENS.
c. Use the UP and DOWN arrow
buttons to select the item to
adjust.
d. Then use the -/+ buttons to
adjust the setting.
e. Press the PIANO DESIGNER
button to return to the
previous screen.
f. Repeat steps b through e to
adjust other parameters, or
g. Press the PIANO DESIGNER
button again to return to the tone select screen.
