HPi-S Series User Program

Demo Guide

OVERVIEW

The HPi-S series now feature the benefits of User Programs. User Programs allow you to save

your desired voice settings for quick recall. The HPi models can save and recall up to thirty-six

(36) individual User Program settings.

To help in understanding the capability of User Programs, a set of thirty-six User Programs is

loaded in every (updated) HPi model. These settings have been designed to accommodate a

number of potential applications:

1. To create a consistent presentation for sales personnel.

2. To provide a set of simple, varied sound settings for new or temporary performance

situations. These settings can be used successfully by players of all skill levels, even

those who possess little or no knowledge of digital instruments.

3. To provide a variety of settings appropriate for use in traditional worship services.

4. To provide new owners with a wide variety of settings to allow them to instantly

experience the range of the instrument’s capability.

User Programs allow Roland pianos to be successfully used as performance instruments. User

programs extend the capability of the instrument:

1. In piano teachers’ studios.

2. At piano recitals.

3. In the classroom.

4. For school programs.

5. For use in church.

6. For use at weddings.

7. In any performance situation.

User Programs also help us to sell more instruments by overcoming two primary fears shared

by many prospective purchasers:

1. That they will never understand how to operate the instrument, and

2. that even if they could they wouldn’t know which sounds to use.

User Programs create a win-win situation, for Roland, our dealers and our customers.
