Chapter 2 Operation

2-2 Loading and Cutting Off Media

Pass the media through the printer and feed it out as far as the platen.

Open the front cover.

Pass the media through the rollers until its end

reaches the platen.

Work from the back of the printer.

While being careful to ensure that the media is free of

slackness or wrinkling, push it out straight and posi-

tioned evenly on the left and right.

Pull back the loading lever to keep the threaded

media from slipping and falling off.
