3) What is an Appropriate Resolution for the Image Data?
For large format printing, the desired image resolution is 150 PPI at full size. In case of low resolution, its
image is an unsuitable for viewing from a short distance since the pixel is too coarse. If an original image
resolution is low, the print quality will not improve by increasing the image resolution set with an application.
The resolution of the original image must be as high as possible. If scanning, the highest resolution should be
used and then saved to an appropriate lower resolution after all adjustments have been made.

What is PPI (Pixels Per Inch)?
PPI (pixels per inch) is a measurement of the resolution on devices such as monitors. Squares are aligned
horizontally and vertically, and each of these displays a color, shade and tone. Each of these squares is
called a pixel and the PPI unit refers to how many pixels are contained within 1 inch (2.54 cm).
For example, 100 PPI means that 1 inch long line contains 100 pixels.
