Installing the driver
If you’re using the UA-101 with the Media Player included
with Windows, make input/output device settings as
follows.
The method of making device settings may differ for your
software. For details, refer to the owner’s manual for your
software.

Open the
Sounds and Audio Devices Properties
dialog
box.

From the Windows
start
menu, choose
Control
Panel
.

In
“Pick a category,”
click
Sound, Speech, and
Audio Devices
.
3.
In
“or Pick a Control Panel icon,”
click the
Sounds
and Audio Devices
icon.

Click the
Audio
tab.

In the
“Sound
playback
,
Sound
recording
, and
MIDI
music playback,”
click each
Default
device
box and from
the list that appears,
choose the following
devices.

Click
[OK]
to close the
Sounds and Audio Devices
Properties
dialog box.
This completes audio and MIDI input/output settings.

Sound recording

MIDI music playback
EDIROL UA-101
Depending on your setup, the
System icon may appear
directly in the Control Panel
(Classic view). If so, double-
click the System icon.
If you are using sequencer
software, you will need to
make audio and MIDI device
settings from within your
software. For details, refer to
the owner’s manual for the
software you are using.
