2-3 Print Heater and Dryer Settings
What Are the Print Heater and Dryer?
This machine is equipped with two devices for heating media. You use these mainly to improve ink adhesion and dry
the ink. You can adjust the temperature settings to match the type of media and printing speed.
WARNING
Do not place any potentially flammable object on the platen or apron while the
print heater or dryer are in operation.
Doing so may cause fire.
CAUTION
Do not touch the platen or apron while the print heater or dryer are in operation.
Doing so may cause burns.
Temperature Settings
Procedure

to select the print heater or dryer.

to make the setting.
Press
to enable the setting.
Press to go back to the original screen.
At first, the print heater and dryer do not warm up to the preset temperature. (This is the factory-default setting.) When
media is loaded correctly and the [SET UP] light comes on, the machine warms up to the preset temperature.
